Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, visited the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Center at the Nineveh Education Directorate, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Saba Al-Taie, Director of the Environmental Research Center.
They were welcomed by Mr. Baraa Al-Hayali, Director of the Department of Curriculum Affairs and Educational Technologies, and Mr. Mahmoud Hashem Sultan, Head of the Computer Curriculum Division/Director of the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Center, who gave an explanation of the centre’s work and achievements.
The university president was briefed on the centre’s products in the fields of artificial intelligence and robotics, and discussed means of cooperation to develop staffs and the possibility of opening similar centers in the districts and suburbs of Nineveh, in order to enhance digital and technological skills in the educational sector.
