The head of the Women’s Affairs Unit at the University of Mosul Presidency, Dr. Nagham Al-Jumaili, participated in a discussion session held at the invitation of the Iraqi Parliament and in cooperation with Nineveh Governorate, to discuss ways to enhance the role of women in the executive government.

The session was attended by a group of women leaders in the governorate, where proposals and opinions were reviewed on the importance of including women in executive positions, enhancing their administrative role, and ensuring their representation in the decision-making process.

The session concluded with a set of recommendations that were written down by members of the Parliament for follow-up with central and local government authorities.
