The Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance at the University of Mosul held a scientific workshop on the quality of the Bologna track on Sunday, March 23, 2025. The lectures were conducted by Prof. Dr. Noha Salim Mohammed, Director of the Department, in the presence of Dr. Ziad Yahya, head of the Institutional Performance Assessment Division, Dr. Ibtisam Yahya from the College of Science, who gave an introductory lecture on the track, and Assistant Lecturer Musa Salem, head of the Quality Assurance Division, and Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Fawzi, head of the Occupational Health and Safety Unit, who gave an introductory lecture on the track.

Colleges that follow the Polonia track in their academic system participated in the workshop, namely the Colleges of Science, Computer Science and Mathematics, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Oil and Mining Engineering, Colleges of Administration and Economics, and the College of Agriculture and Forestry.

The workshop presented the most important files of the Bologna track, represented by the Bologna Quality Assurance Council, internal quality assurance and external quality assurance steps, department head evaluation mechanisms, student evaluation mechanism, professor’s bag, and how to write reports within the specified period of time to submit them.

This workshop came to promote the steps of its application in a scientific manner that is consistent with the determinants of the path to serve the university, students and the scientific and educational process in it.
