The Standing Committee for Sustainable Development at the University of Mosul held its preparatory meeting on Sunday, March 23, 2025. The preparatory meeting for the Sustainable Development Week, which will be held next April, was chaired by Dr. Saba Khairuddin Al-Taie, head of the committee.

The meeting was attended by the assistant deans of the colleges for scientific affairs, Professor Dr. Amer Abdul Razzaq, Director of the Department of Studies and Planning at the University Presidency, and Assistant Professor Raad Ahmed Ayoub, head of the Sustainable Development Unit in the department, as well as the directors of the research centers.

The meeting discussed the most important preparations of colleges and research centers and the events that will be held during the celebration and week of sustainable development and the need to apply its objectives aimed at preserving and advancing human and life in its various details.
