On Monday, April 7, 2025, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul discussed a doctoral dissertation entitled “The role of individual capabilities and strategic awareness patterns of the strategic leader in enhancing the success factors of strategic alliances: An analytical study of the opinions of a sample of teaching staff at the University of Mosul”, by researcher Karam Tawfiq Mohammed Abdullah.

The researcher chose the University of Mosul as the field of study, based on the obvious steps that the university is witnessing in the field of scientific and strategic alliances, under the leadership of the university president, who was considered as a model of a strategic leader within the analytical framework of the study, to analyze the vital role played by the individual capabilities of the strategic leader along with his strategic awareness patterns.

The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Thaer Ahmed Saadoun Al-Samman, Dean of the College, with the membership of Prof. Dr. Fadel Radi Ghobash / Kufa University, Prof. Dr. Maysoon Abdullah Ahmed, Assistant Professor Dr. Iman Bashir Muhammad and Assistant Professor Dr. Shihab Muhammad Mahmoud / Northern Technical University, under the supervision and membership of Prof. Maan Wa’adallah Al-Ma’adidi
