Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, opened the cultural student festival held by the Department of Life Sciences at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, for the period from April 7-8, 2025, under the slogan: “Recycling and Biological Processing”.

It included a presentation of a number of students’ projects in the fields of recycling and environmental treatment, using paper, glass, cardboard, plastic and organic materials, turning them into artistic and functional models, in addition to qualitative research ideas, including the “liquid tree” project and the production of plants from recycled paper integrated with plant seeds, which are experiments presented for the first time in Iraq.
