On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul discussed a doctoral dissertation titled “The Role of Skillful Leadership in Promoting Creative Behavior of Workers – The Mediating Role of Human Resource Reengineering
: An analytical study of the opinions of a sample of faculty members at the University of Mosul”.
The study, submitted by Rana Mahmoud Shaker at the Department of Business Administration, aimed to explore the nature of the relationship between the research variables (independent, mediating, and dependent) in terms of interdependence and influence, at both macro and micro levels, in order to reveal the trends of that relationship within the research university environment.
The study concluded a number of findings, most notably: There is a direct, positive, and significant correlation and impact of both masterful leadership and human resource re-engineering – separately – on the creative behavior of employees. The study also proved the partial mediating role played by human resource re-engineering in the indirect and moral influence of masterful leadership on enhancing the creative behavior of workers at the university.
The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Samir Kamel Al-Khatib from Uruk National University, with the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Thabet Jassim, Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Abdul Moujoub Al-Ani, Assistant Professor Dr. Safa Idris Aboudi, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Hussein Al-Jarjari, and the membership and supervision of Prof. Dr. Maysoon Abdullah Ahmed.
