College of Veterinary Medicine collaborates with the Nineveh Veterinarians Syndicate to organize a workshop entitled “Veterinarians Syndicate and the Labor Market”

Based on the university’s goal of openness and forming partnerships with state institutions and the private sector, and in the presence of Dr. Omar Qusai, the head of the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Division at the University Presidency, the College’s Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Unit, in cooperation with the Veterinarians Syndicate – Nineveh Branch, organized a workshop entitled: “Veterinarians Syndicate and the Labor Market.” The workshop was attended by Dr. Omar Qusai, the head of the Veterinarians Syndicate.
The workshop was attended by Dr. Omar Qusai, head of the Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up Division at the University Presidency.
The workshop was presented by Dr. Omar Raad Al-Hayali (Syndicate of Veterinarians – Nineveh Branch and Director of the Veterinary Hospital in Nineveh), with the participation of Dr. Ahmed Anmar (member of the Syndicate Council and Media Officer at the Veterinary Hospital). The workshop was dedicated to the students of the fifth stage of the college.
The workshop addressed several important topics, including
Introducing the Syndicate of Veterinarians and its objectives, the mechanisms of work within the Syndicate.
How to belong to it, the rights and duties of the veterinarian, the veterinarian’s relationship with the labor market, with a focus on opportunities in the private sector, ways to develop the veterinary profession and enhance the competencies of graduates.
This workshop comes as part of a series of activities that aim to sensitize students and enhance their readiness for the labor market after graduation
