The College of Fine Arts at the University of Mosul announced that the Department of Theater Arts has received National Academic Accreditation, making it the first department in the College of Fine Arts in Iraq to achieve this recognition.

This achievement comes with the support of His Excellency Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the follow-up of Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, as well as the distinguished efforts of the teaching and administrative staff at the college. This accomplishment is considered a scientific distinction added to the university’s and the Department of Theater Arts’ achievements, reflecting its distinguished academic journey and continuous efforts towards development.
