The Civil Defense Division of the Office Affairs Department at the Presidency of the University of Mosul held an awareness training lecture at the College of Environmental Sciences, as part of its program aimed at educating university affiliates on the measures to be taken in preventing fires and minimizing their effects in the event of their occurrence in order to preserve lives and property.

Mr. Sufyan Idris, head of the division, gave a theoretical and practical explanation of the work of firefighters, how to use them and their types.
