College of Administration and Economics discusses doctoral dissertation on artificial intelligence and actuarial calculations

 

 

On Monday, April 14, 2025, the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul discussed a doctoral dissertation in the Department of Accounting by Zeina Abdul Sattar Jabr, entitled: “Using Artificial Intelligence to Develop Actuarial Accounts and its Role in Improving the Quality of Financial Reports.” The study aims to provide important results that confirm the effectiveness of artificial intelligence in enhancing the efficiency of actuarial calculations and the accuracy of financial reports.

The study aimed at obtaining important results that emphasize the effectiveness of artificial intelligence in enhancing the efficiency of actuarial calculations and the accuracy of financial reports, in a way that contributes to improving the performance of insurance companies and financial institutions.

The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Asad Ghani Jihad, General Manager of the Administrative and Financial Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with the membership of Prof. Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jamil, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Malallah Abdullah, Assistant Professor Dr. Taha Ahmed Hassan, Assistant Professor Dr. Saifuddin Amjad Ismail, and under the supervision and membership of Prof. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi.
