The College of Engineering at the University of Mosul has achieved an outstanding academic achievement by having its seven departments ranked first in Iraq in the results of the 2024 Iraqi University Rankings.

The dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Abdulrahim Ibrahim Jassim, was honored on, Monday, April 14, 2025, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, during a meeting that brought together the deans of the outstanding colleges with Prof. Salah Hadi Saleh, head of the Supervision and Evaluation Authority, who praised the efforts made, praising the results that confirm the development of academic performance in Iraqi universities.
