On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, attended the opening of the first national conference for Iraqi scholarship holders, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, on the grounds of the University of Baghdad.

His Excellency delivered a package of decisions to support the march of scholarships in his distinguished speech.

This conference, which aims to empower scholarship students, invest their energies and direct effective scientific visions in order to create a promising scientific and educational environment that transmits distinctive cultures, adopting the goal of promoting scientific research and embodying it as a reality for a better life that serves Iraq and Iraqis.
