Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, accompanied by several members of the University Council, visited His Excellency Bishop Mar Benedictus Yonan Hano, Archbishop of the Mosul and its Dependencies Chaldean Catholic Archdiocese, to extend their congratulations on the occasion of the glorious Easter.

During the meeting, both parties discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the university and religious and cultural institutions, emphasizing the importance of community fraternity and religious diversity as key components of the cultural identity of Nineveh Governorate. The university’s role in supporting initiatives that promote values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence among the various components of society was also highlighted.
