Under the patronage and presence of Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision and follow-up of Prof. Dr. Saba Khairuddin Ibrahim, Chairman of the Standing Committee for Sustainable Development and Director of the Environmental Research Center, the third Sustainable Development Week was launched on, Monday, April 21, 2025, at the University of Mosul.

The President of the University opened an exhibition of projects and innovations, which included a number of initiatives in the field of clean energy and environmental sustainability, with the participation of a number of university colleges and research centers, with the aim of promoting awareness of sustainable development issues and encouraging innovation in environmentally friendly fields.
