Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, opens the first international scientific forum on the applications of nanotechnology and artificial intelligence in the fields of science, medicine, pharmacy and best practices in scientific publishing on Sunday, April 27, 2025.

The conference includes scientific sessions throughout the two days.
The first day’s sessions include the following lectures:
The first session: “Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Biomedicine and Life Sciences Concepts and Fundamentals” was delivered by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Reda Rashidi. The lecture included an introduction to artificial intelligence and machine learning Understanding concepts without technical background, steps to apply case learning from data to predictions.
The second session, entitled “Principles and Best Practices in Scientific Publishing”, was delivered by Prof. Dr. Fahida Zarai. The lecture included an overview of scientific publishing and best practices in scientific publishing, technical, scientific and ethical aspects.
The third session: “A technological product that absorbs odors” delivered by Dr. Baharak Debend.
The scientific forum aims to extend bridges of scientific and academic cooperation between the University of Mosul and Iranian universities, representing a vital platform for researchers and academics from various disciplines to discuss the latest developments in science, nanotechnology and artificial intelligence in general and in chemistry in particular, and to address the latest scientific publishing practices in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
