On Sunday, May 11, 2025, Prof. Dr. Muzahim Al-Khayat, Chairman of the Parliamentary Higher Education Committee, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, visited the site of the Assyrian Library at the University of Mosul, to see the progress of work in completing the stages of its reconstruction.

This visit comes within the framework of following up the efforts aimed at revitalizing this ancient cultural and historical edifice, which is one of the most prominent landmarks of the university, due to its great scientific and heritage value.
