In the presence of Prof. Dr. Muzahim Qasim Al-Khayat, Chairman of the Parliamentary Higher Education Committee, Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and Prof. Dr. Nashat Mubarak, President of Hamdaniya University, the University of Mosul held a ceremony on Sunday, May 11, 2025, to honor its former college deans in recognition of their scientific and administrative efforts during their tenure of responsibility.

The speeches delivered at the ceremony affirmed the university’s pride in their generosity and sincerity in serving the educational and student process, noting that this honor comes in recognition of their solid contributions that contributed to enhancing the university’s status academically and administratively.

In this context, the university presidency announced the formation of an advisory committee that includes the former deans, with the aim of benefiting from their extensive experience in supporting future development plans and enhancing the process of university work.
