The University of Mosul organized an awareness workshop entitled “Electronic Citizen Government”, with the aim of highlighting the objectives of the system in enhancing transparency, improving the quality of services, and activating the role of the citizen in evaluating government performance.

The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Obaid Oweid, Dr. Waad Ghanem Badiwi, and Mr. Saad Ahmed Oweid, where they reviewed the main themes of the system, the mechanisms for receiving complaints and suggestions through electronic channels, and the role of technology in supporting this trend.

The workshop included interactive activities and applied models to simplify the concepts of the system and stimulate positive interaction between the citizen and the institution. The workshop was attended by officials of the citizen affairs units in the university’s colleges and a number of concerned employees.
