University of Mosul President visits medical research centers with Nineveh Health General Director

 

As part of the periodic meetings aimed at enhancing communication with students and providing them with the necessary support, the Presidency of the University of Mosul organized a special meeting with a number of students with special needs, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University, accompanied by Prof. Abdul Rahim Ibrahim Jassim, Assistant Rector for Scientific Affairs, and Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Talal Al-Jalili, Director of Student Affairs and Registration Department.

During the meeting, they listened to the opinions and suggestions of the students, and identified their academic and service needs, in order to overcome the challenges they face on campus.

Mr. President emphasized that these meetings come within the framework of the keenness of the university presidency to maintain bridges of communication with all its students, especially those with special needs, stressing the importance of providing an inclusive university environment that guarantees them equal opportunities in education and support, praising their will and efforts to overcome challenges and achieve excellence.

The meeting was also attended by the directors of the Disability and Special Needs Care Authority in the Nineveh and Nineveh Plain sections, in a step that emphasizes the integration of efforts between the university and the specialized institutions to serve this important group.
