Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, received the team of the national assessor assigned to evaluate the Department of Shari’ah – College of Islamic Sciences to obtain programmatic accreditation, in the presence of the Assistant Rector for Scientific Affairs Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahim Ibrahim, and the Assistant Rector for Administrative and Financial Affairs Assistant Professor Dr. Rafal Hassan Hamed.

During the meeting, they discussed the mechanisms of applying the standards of program accreditation in the colleges of Islamic sciences and ways to improve the educational process in accordance with the requirements of academic quality. The university president affirmed the university administration’s support for all efforts that contribute to the development of program performance in line with the university’s vision and academic mission.
