On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, the Division of Rehabilitation, Employment and Follow-up at the University of Mosul held an expanded meeting, including unit officials in colleges and officials in the division, in order to complete the requirements of the strategic plan for the next academic year, including activities, courses, workshops and field visits.

The meeting clarified and explained the requirements for the implementation of the National Strategic Plan for Education and Higher Education in Iraq (2022-2030) implemented by the Division and its units as well as the Continuing Education Center at the university and emphasized the need to adhere to the timelines within the five axes prepared for the plan.

The meeting also reviewed the plan to implement the activities of the industrial advisory councils that were previously prepared and sent to the Ministry, and these programs will be implemented with the start of the next academic year in order to provide a great service to students and graduates, as these programs have a great impact in integrating them with the labor market and its requirements, where approximately (128) activities will be implemented in this aspect.

In addition to discussing the mechanisms of cooperation with government institutions, the private sector and non-governmental organizations, with the need to adhere to the ministerial instructions and submit monthly achievement reports for the mechanisms of this cooperation to the Ministry.
It was discussed to complete the requirements of talented students and send their information according to the form prepared by the division to prepare their work environment in the entrepreneurship and innovation hall in the scientific and literary forum after they undergo tests that qualify them to innovate and create in different fields.
