Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and the supervision and presence of Prof. Dr. Rafal Hassan Hamed, Assistant President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, the Quran Reading and Memorization Unit was inaugurated at the Continuing Education Center, on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.

The inauguration began with a ceremony to grant a license to the student Wassal Zahid Abdulstar in concluding the Holy Quran in the first work of this unit.

It is noteworthy that the tasks of the unit lies in spreading the culture of reading and memorizing the Quran, in addition to holding religious training courses in all disciplines, which is hoped to serve the university’s affiliates and the general community in Nineveh Governorate.
