Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, participated in the College of Arts Council meeting held on Thursday, June 19, 2025, where he was welcomed by the Dean of the college, Professor Dr. Hatim Fahd Al-Taie.

The meeting included a presentation of the most significant scientific and academic activities accomplished, as well as discussions on mechanisms to enhance the quality of education and support scientific research within the college.

In his speech, the President emphasized the importance of elevating the university’s status in global rankings by promoting publication in recognized research repositories, urging faculty members to exert more effort in this direction.

He also expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the college’s administration and staff, commending the academic progress achieved and affirming the university’s presidency’s support for all initiatives that contribute to the development of scientific and research performance.
