University of Mosul President inaugurates “Nasmat Watan” exhibition to coincide with Iraqi Wounded Day

Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, inaugurated the “Nasmat Watan” art exhibition organized by the Art Division of the Student Activities Department, in the presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Rafal Hassan Hamed, Assistant to the President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, in the presence of Assistant Professor Dr. Rafal Hassan Hamed.

The exhibition coincided with the commemoration of the Iraqi Wounded Day, emphasizing the university’s support for cultural and artistic activities with a national and humanitarian dimension.

The exhibited artworks varied between paintings depicting national symbols and scenes expressing resilience and belonging, in addition to other paintings that shed light on landmarks and prominent sites from the city of Mosul, which contributed to delivering a message of loyalty to the wounded and martyrs of Iraq, and evoking the spirit of the city and its rich history.
