A great effort and continuous follow-up from Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, to reconstruct its buildings in the right side, in order to prepare the requirements for the opening of the second medical college at the university.

Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, inspected onTuesday, June 24, 2025, the buildings of the Faculty of Medicine in the right side of the city, to see the completion rates and the progress of work.

The visit was accompanied by Assistant Professor Dr. Hammam Ghanem Ibrahim, Dean of the College of Medicine, and Dr. Omar Adel Sabah, Director of the Department of Construction and Projects at the University, where the tour included a number of buildings and facilities under construction and rehabilitation.

During the tour, Mr. Rector emphasized the importance of accelerating the completion of the works according to the specified timetables and in accordance with the approved standards, stressing the need to create the appropriate educational environment for students and faculty members, in order to contribute to raising the quality of medical education at the university.
