As part of the ongoing efforts of the Presidency of the University of Mosul to support academic mobility and improve research outputs, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University, paid a field visit to the College of Administration and Economics on the morning of Thursday, July 24, 2025, accompanied by the President’s Assistant for Scientific Affairs and the President’s Assistant for Administrative and Financial Affairs.

The delegation was received by Prof. Dr. Sinan Zuhair Muhammad Jamil, Dean of the College, and a number of heads of scientific departments. During the visit, the President of the University was briefed on the work of the College, particularly the efforts made to include the College’s journal, “Tanmiya Al-Rafidain,” in the Scopus international database as one of the peer-reviewed scientific journals that contribute to raising the level of scientific publication at the University.

This visit comes in the context of the direct support provided by the university presidency to international academic accreditation projects and to strengthening the presence of university journals in reputable global databases.
