In affirmation of the continued support of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmood Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, for the university’s scientific journals, Professor Dr. Abdul Rahim Ibrahim Jassim, the Assistant of the President for Scientific Affairs, chaired an expanded meeting on Sunday, July 27, 2025, focused on the development of the university’s journals.

The meeting was attended by Lecturer Dr. Omar Ahmed Al-Zaidi, Director of the Electronic Computer Center, and Engineer Diaa Saif Al-Islam, OJS system programmer, along with the editors-in-chief of the university’s journals.

The discussions centered on the mechanisms used to update journal interfaces and publication methods to keep pace with rapid technological developments. The meeting also addressed the challenges and obstacles facing the journals and proposed appropriate solutions to enhance their performance and improve their impact factor, with the aim of achieving recognition in prestigious global academic indexes.
