The Justice Forum at the University of Mosul concludes its activities with a public marathon on the Corniche al-Jusq.

On the sidelines of the Justice Forum hosted by the University of Mosul on Monday, July 21, 2025, a race (Justice Marathon) was on Friday, July 25, 2025, on the Corniche Al-Jousq, with the participation of more than 250 young people of different ages, under the slogan “Run for justice with us? Your step is a message, and your run is a stance.”

The marathon witnessed a large turnout and was the culmination of the events of the first Justice Forum, which was held at the University of Mosul in conjunction with World Justice Day.

The forum focused on raising awareness in the community about the dangers of cybercrime and digital extortion, in addition to specialized sessions on cybersecurity, psychological treatment, etiquette, and protocol.

It was attended by Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, Dr. Ahmed Al-Huraithi, Deputy President of the Nineveh Court of Appeal, Mr. Omar Namik Al-Mawla, Technical Deputy to the Governor of Nineveh, Assistant Professor Dr. Rafal Hassan Hamid, Assistant to the President of the University for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and a number of members of the University Council, as well as a select group of judges, academics, and security officials.

The marathon aims to promote legal and social awareness and convey messages of support for justice and the rule of law, emphasizing the role of young people in building a safe and cohesive society.

It is worth noting that this event is the first of its kind in the city of Mosul, combining legal awareness and sports in an experience that reinforces the impact of its social messages.
