In support of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s efforts to strengthen oversight mechanisms within academic institutions, Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, received today, Wednesday, August 6, 2025, the ministerial committee assigned to supervise the evaluation of candidates applying for leadership positions in the Follow-up Divisions at the university presidency and its affiliated colleges and formations.

The committee was composed of Assistant Lecturer Wissam Salman Aziz, Mr. Hassanein Ali Jabir, and Mr. Mohammed Jasib Jari. The University President welcomed the committee members, affirming the University’s full support for all efforts aimed at developing the follow-up system and enhancing administrative operations on campus. He emphasized the importance of fostering an organized academic environment rooted in modern administrative and service management practices.

Following the meeting, the committee began conducting the required candidate evaluations at the University’s Grand Theater Hall to select the most qualified applicants in accordance with the current ministerial regulations and guidelines.
