As part of its commitment to promoting a culture of safety and prevention on campus, the Civil Defense Unit of the University Presidency’s Administrative Affairs Department conducted a field training drill on the morning of Wednesday, August 6, 2025, near the university lake. The drill focused on practicing proper procedures for rescuing individuals in drowning situations.

This initiative aims to enhance staff preparedness and improve response capabilities in emergency scenarios related to water incidents. It reflects the University of Mosul’s ongoing efforts to ensure a safe and responsive academic environment, ready to handle emergencies through precise and standardized protocols.
