University of Mosul Concludes First Week of Development Program to Enhance Students’ Creative Skills

 

As part of its ongoing efforts to develop students’ abilities and refine their talents, the University of Mosul concluded, on Thursday, August 7, 2025, the activities of the first group of the opening week of its series of development courses.
The program covered diverse fields including drawing, public speaking, photography, volunteer work, and psychological support, with the participation of more than 860 male and female students.

The closing ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Abdulrahim Ibrahim Jassim, the Assistant of the President for Scientific Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Abdulmalik Suleiman, Director of the Student Activities Department, where certificates were awarded to the participants.
The final lecture of the program was delivered by Prof. Dr. Fahd Talal Al-Khalidi, faculty member at Al-Imam Al-Azam University.

Attendees praised the importance of the program and its role in empowering students and developing their skills, emphasizing that such initiatives are a cornerstone of the University of Mosul’s vision to build a well-rounded academic generation that combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills in line with the needs of society and the labor market.
