The University of Mosul continues its digital transformation process for issuing vehicles badges

The Computer Center at the University of Mosul, the Systems and software Division, in cooperation with Follow-up Department at the Presidency of the University, held a special workshop lasts for two days, to prepare the new electronic system for issuing the badges and permits of vehicles inside the campus, in order to inform the development team about the demands and the tasks of the system.
Assistant Chief Programmer Laith Jasem Mohammed as the main instructor, with contributions from Assistant Programmer Mohammed Nofal Abdulrahman and Lecturer Ansam Osama Abdulmajid presented the workshop.
The workshop started on Sunday, 10 August, 2025, with the attendance of the Computer Center manager, the head of Follow-up Department and its employees, in addition to the Follow-up supervisors from various university units. The lecturers presented the main functionalities of the system including the receiving and managing the applications of badges issuing across different categories, following-up the attached reports, and discussing the administrative procedures with department officials and staff.
The workshop will continue on Monday, 11 August, 2025, focusing on training designated permit officers from different university units on verifying and managing requests within their respective departments. This training is a preparatory step for the official launch of the system in the near future.
