This evening, Sunday, August 17, 2025, the Governmental and Private Education Festival kicked off at the Scout Camp grounds in Nineveh Governorate, organized by Basmah Group in cooperation with the Nineveh Education Directorate, with wide participation from universities and colleges, under the slogan: “The Talented Generation.”
The opening ceremony began with a speech delivered by Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, who emphasized the pivotal role of the university as the cornerstone of educational and scientific advancement in Nineveh.
The University of Mosul stood out by presenting 28 innovative student projects across various fields, in addition to the participation of a distinguished team from the College of Dentistry, which offered interactive practical activities that attracted significant engagement from visitors.

The festival aims to highlight students’ talents and scientific as well as artistic innovations, while strengthening collaboration and communication between educational institutions across the governorate, in the presence of academics and those interested in the educational sector.
