University of Mosul Concludes Hosting IQ and Cognitive Ability Tests for Gifted and Talented School Applicants in Nineveh

 

Continuing its leading role in nurturing talented students and developing their abilities, the University of Mosul welcomed, for the second consecutive day, students participating in the trial IQ and cognitive ability tests for applicants to gifted and talented schools in Nineveh Governorate.

Following the start of the tests on Monday, which were dedicated to female students, Tuesday, August 12, 2025, was allocated for male students. The tests were held in the halls of the University’s Continuing Education Center and witnessed a large turnout of students and their parents, reflecting their awareness of the importance of this initiative in identifying exceptional talents.

This step reaffirms the University of Mosul’s commitment to supporting promising scientific potential and strengthening its partnership with the Directorate of Education in embracing and refining the skills of these creative groups, thereby contributing to the formation of a distinguished generation capable of making a meaningful contribution to society.
