University of Mosul Provides Medical and Therapeutic Services to Visitors of Arbaeen of Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him)

 

In implementation of the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to mobilize the capabilities of its academic institutions in serving the community, and in line with the University of Mosul’s mission to support national and religious events, the university on Thursday, August 14, 2025, under the direct supervision of Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University, prepared its site in the village of Ali Rash to serve visitors to the shrine of Imam Zain Al-Abidin (peace be upon him).
The initiative included the deployment of medical teams, nursing and pharmaceutical staff, and the provision of medications and treatment services, with support from the Council Affairs and Follow-up Departments within the University Presidency, which monitored the progress of work on the ground and resolved any difficulties the team faced.
Mr. Abdul Qader Al-Dakhil praised this step, highlighting the active community role of the University of Mosul and appreciating its dedication to participating in such occasions and serving all visitors. Several officials who visited the site also commended the university’s efforts and distinguished contributions.
