On Sunday, September 7, 2025, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, received Dr. Mohamed Abdel Fattah, a legal accountant representing the Director of the Federal Board of Supreme Audit.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Rafal Hassan Hamid, Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Ms. Zeina Luqman Daoud, Director of the Internal Auditing and Financial Control Department at the University Presidency, and Mr. Arqam Mohamed Said, Director of the Administrative and Financial Affairs Department.

The discussions focused on the mechanisms and regulatory procedures for organizing the financial data of the Higher Education Fund for 2024, aiming to facilitate disbursement processes and determine priorities. The meeting also emphasized enhancing collaboration between the university and the board to save effort and time by adopting electronic automation systems, a step that supports governance and the use of modern technologies in this vital field.
