On Sunday, September 7, 2025, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, received Ms. Rahima Al-Hassan, Member of Parliament representing Nineveh Governorate, in his official office.

During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the university and government institutions, and to support academic and community initiatives in the governorate. The discussions focused on leveraging the scientific and research expertise of the University of Mosul to serve the community and strengthen its leading role in shaping a brighter future for Nineveh and its residents.
