To strengthen the links between the educational and security systems and to better serve university affiliates, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, received in his office on Thursday, September 18, 2025, Major General Falah Al-Jarba, Commander of Nineveh Police, and Brigadier General Hakim Daham Habo, Director of the Directorate of Civil Status, Passports, and Residency.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the university and security institutions in Nineveh Governorate, aiming to serve students and the local community, and to facilitate official procedures related to university staff and students.

During the meeting, the university president emphasized the importance of continued coordination with security leadership to strengthen stability and support the scientific and academic mission of the University of Mosul, ensuring the fulfilment of its educational and community-oriented objectives.
