The Central Committee for Implementing the European EFQM Excellence Model at the University of Mosul held a meeting on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, chaired by Professor Dr. Abdul Rahim Ibrahim Jassim, the Assistant of the President of the University for Scientific Affairs, with the attendance of Assistant Professor Dr. Rafal Hassan Hamid, Assistant of the President for Administrative Affairs.

The meeting featured specialized lectures delivered by Professor Dr. Noha Salim Mohammed, Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department at the university presidency, Professor Dr. Maysar Ibrahim Ahmed from the College of Administration and Economics, and Associate Professor Dr. Ahmed Hani Mohammed, also from the College of Administration and Economics.

Discussions focused on the practical steps for implementing institutional excellence standards according to the European model, covering key areas such as leadership, management, processes, and services. This aligns with the university’s strategy to enhance academic and administrative performance quality and achieve sustainable excellence.

The meeting also emphasized the importance of utilizing human resources and institutional capacities to meet the requirements for academic accreditation, while strengthening the university’s capabilities in competitiveness and innovation, ensuring a leading position among reputable universities locally and regionally.
