Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, along with the Assistant of the President for Scientific Affairs Professor Dr. Abdul Rahim Ibrahim, received Mr. Sabehan Jajan Al-Hadidi, Chairman of the Education and Higher Education Committee in Nineveh Provincial Council, who visited the university coinciding with the start of the new academic year.

During the meeting, Mr. Al-Hadidi extended his congratulations to the university community, including faculty members and students, on the commencement of the academic year, wishing it to be a year filled with scientific achievements and academic contributions.

He also expressed his pride in the inclusion of several researchers from the University of Mosul in the list of the top 2% of scientists worldwide, emphasizing that this distinction reflects the university’s pioneering status and its prominent role both locally and internationally, further enhancing its position on the global research map.
