University of Mosul Hosts the Meeting of the Deans of Colleges of Education for Humanities in Iraqi Universities

On Sunday, 28 September, 2025, University of Mosul hosted the meeting of the Deans of Colleges of Education for Humanities in Iraqi universities, with the participation of the deans and representatives from various universities.
The meeting discussed the mechanisms to enhance the educational and academic cooperation between the colleges, contributing in developing the joint work and exchanging the scientific and research experts. Participants also addressed several issues related to academic programs and curricula, with a focus on making Arabic language a core subject in all departments and specializations, following discussions regarding the approval of Arabic language curricula for non-specialized departments.
They also discussed the update and development of the curricula of the Colleges of Education for Humanities, based on the proposed suggestions by the relevant ministerial committee, to enhance the quality of educational outcomes.
This step highlights an important phase in advancing the scientific and educational level of Iraqi universities, in alignment with the needs of the modern era and the community.
