The University of Mosul has announced the introduction of a Master’s program in General Medicine and Surgery with a specialization in Auditory and Balance Physiology at the College of Medicine, starting from the 2026–2027 academic year. This comes after meeting all the necessary scientific and technical requirements and receiving approval from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

This new program is part of the university’s efforts to expand its graduate studies offerings and support specialized medical fields that contribute to the development of healthcare and medical education in Iraq. It specifically focuses on auditory and balance fields, which are experiencing rapid scientific advancements and an increasing demand for specialized expertise.
