The University of Mosul, represented by Dr. Said Khudida Al-Sanjari, participated in the second regional technical meeting on implementing the UNESCO Recommendation of 2023 in the Arab region. The meeting, organized by the UNESCO Regional Office in Beirut, was held online on Thursday, October 9, 2025. The event was attended by national coordinators for Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) and national contact points for the 2023 UNESCO Recommendation.

During the meeting, the representative of the University of Mosul presented quality proposals focused on enhancing the integration between higher education institutions and international organizations, supporting programs for quality, inclusivity, and educational governance, in alignment with the education goals for 2030.

This participation highlights the University of Mosul’s leading role in monitoring international initiatives for education development and sustainable development, as well as its ongoing commitment to representing Iraq in regional and international academic forums, thereby strengthening its scientific standing and role in community service.
