The President of Mosul University Hosts the Australian Ambassador and Discuss the Academic and Agricultural Cooperation

On Tuesday, 21 October, 2025, President of Mosul University receives Australian Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Glenn Miles, to discuss opportunities for mutual cooperation between the two sides in the academic, scientific, and agricultural fields, as part of the university’s efforts to promote sustainable development projects.
During the meeting, they discussed the chances of expanding the partnership between Mosul University and Australian universities, as well as to develop cooperation in scientific research and modern agricultural production technologies. This collaboration aims to support the agricultural sector and enhance the skills of research and academic staff.
University President emphasized on the importance of engaging with reputable international experiences and exchanging expertise with global academic institutions. He pointed out that cooperation with Australian universities is a milestone in enhancing the standing of Mosul University regionally and internationally.
At the end of the meeting, the President of the University took the Australian Ambassador on a field tour of the campus, visiting several laboratories and scientific facilities. The Ambassador expressed his admiration for the level of development at the university and its ongoing efforts to support education and scientific research.
