As part of his interest in enhancing the academic infrastructure and advancing medical education at the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmood Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University, conducted a field visit on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, to the newly established Al-Batool College of Medicine to assess its final readiness to welcome students for the start of its first academic year.

Assistant Professor Dr. Zaid Qais, the Dean of the College, received him and gave detailed explanation on the preparation of the college, particularly the completion of modern scientific laboratories and classrooms in accordance with the accredited academic standards.

During his tour, the University President emphasized on the importance of providing the latest educational tools and scientific technologies that align with advancements in medical education, which reflects the stature of the university and its journey towards academic excellence.

Also, he stressed on full support for the College of Al-Batool as a valuable addition to the university’s colleges, contributing to the health sector with qualified professionals and serving the community.
