On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmood Al-Ibrahimi, President of Mosul University, welcomed Professor Dr. Abbas Abdul Hussein Kweish, Chairman of the National Accreditation Council for Accrediting Fine Arts and Applied Arts College Programs in Iraq, accompanied by the team of national evaluators. The visit was aimed at evaluating and monitoring the programs of the College of Fine Arts at the university.

The university president praised the committee’s efforts and developmental observations, which aim to improve the quality of academic programs and enhance the academic accreditation process. He emphasized the university’s ongoing support for all its colleges in achieving national and international standards of academic quality.

This visit is part of the university’s plan to strengthen academic accreditation, ensure quality education, and continuously develop scientific and artistic programs, benefiting educational outcomes and enhancing the academic and creative level of students.
