Peaceful Coexistence… A Pathway for the University of Mosul to Enhance the Quality of Student Activities

The Student Activities Department at the University of Mosul organized a scientific seminar titled “Peaceful Coexistence and Its Positive Impact on Student Activity Performance,” which addressed the close relationship between instilling values of coexistence and tolerance and the quality and effectiveness of extracurricular activities in the university environment.
The seminar aimed to emphasize the role of student activities in building a balanced university personality, as well as reinforcing values of mutual respect and openness to others as fundamental components for creating a positive and productive academic environment.
During the seminar, the speakers clarified that peaceful coexistence is not just a humanitarian value, but a practical framework for enhancing teamwork and responsibility among students. They pointed out that a university that embraces diversity and instills a culture of tolerance creates a generation capable of innovation, contribution, and active participation in community service.
The necessity of integrating the concepts of peaceful coexistence into student activity plans and programs was also emphasized to ensure an inclusive and stimulating university environment that fosters national belonging and supports the university’s journey toward excellence in academic performance and student activities.
