President of Mosul University Opens the Annex Building for the Deanery of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics

In line with his commitment to developing the university’s infrastructure and providing an advanced educational environment that meets the demands of the modern era, Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of Mosul University, officially opened the annex building for the Deanery of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics on Tuesday morning, October 28, 2025. The opening was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Rafal Hasan Hamid, Administrative Assistant to the University President, along with several engineering staff.
The new building includes classrooms and laboratories equipped with the latest technologies, in line with modern curricula in computer science and mathematics. This will significantly contribute to enhancing the quality of education and supporting research within the college.
During the opening, the College Dean, Dr. Doha Basheer Abdullah, expressed her deep appreciation for the university president’s oversight and contributions to the completion of the project, emphasizing that this achievement represents an important support for the college’s academic and research endeavors. The university president also honored the engineering staff involved in the project, including Engineer Zeina Abdul Wahab, Head of the Resident Engineer Department, and Engineer Neveen Sabri, Head of the Construction Unit in the college.
This project is part of Mosul University’s ongoing efforts to develop its infrastructure and improve the educational environment, aligning with its ambitious vision for modernization and advancement in the academic process.
