On Thursday, October 30, 2025, Dr. Muzahim Al-Khayyat, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, visited the First International Book Exhibition at Mosul University, in support of the university’s efforts to enrich knowledge and promote cultural activity.

He was received by Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of Mosul University, who accompanied him on a tour of the exhibition halls and the participating publishing houses.

Dr. Al-Khayyat praised Mosul University’s role in revitalizing the cultural and academic scene, emphasizing that the exhibition represents an important intellectual platform that supports researchers, students, and intellectuals alike.
